Announcement
It gives us great pleasure to announce the appointment of Richard Donnelly to serve on both the Association Oversight Committee (AOC) and Membership Oversight Committee (MOC). Richard has been a member of the HFSA since March 2001. We look forward to his assistance in our quest to continue to move the HFSA forward.
At the same time, it is with sincere regret that we announce that Ken Williams, who served on both the AOC & MOC, has asked to be replaced on both Committees due to current medical problems. Ken was very much responsible for the early success of the HFSA. He served and performed with dignity, diplomacy and the highest of ethical standards and will be greatly missed. We wish to extend our gratitude, wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to his future participation
We also wish to thank Richard for his willingness to take a more active role in the HFSA and look forward to his contribution to our future growth and ability to greater serve the HFS community.
In light of the horrific events that occurred yesterday in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington we would have preferred to make this announcement at another time. But we also felt the need to be able to continue with HFSA business. We trust you will understand our decision to make this announcement at this time.
