Symptoms Experienced:
Involantary tics and spasms on the left eye and on the left side of the mouth.
Medications Tried: Used Lyrica (Pregabalin) for 3 weeks with no success.
Side effects: Drowsines and dizziness. Do not recommend.

My first Botox application was at the beginning of 2007. It was partially successful. My eye was under control but my mouth still ticks. I am two months into my first botox application and I am not satisfied. I am seriously considering MVD.

Update as of 01/06/08 - Had a rough recovery (mostly feeling miserable), and have had some facial palsy but no spasms, and overall I'm pleased with Dr. Kassam and the surgery.
