Treatment History
Symptoms Experienced:
Periodic episodes of facial twitching that vary in duration and intensity. Usually involves obvious movement of the right cheek, eyelids and right side of mouth.
Medications Tried: None. After reading the possible side effects of missing your dosage and knowing how forgetful I can be about taking meds, I didnt want to risk it.
Alternative Treatments Tried:
Initially tried varying my diet, sleep patterns, and caffeine intake, and took potassium suppliments (for inproved nerve funtion)

Botox Comments:
As with medication, I decided to avoid Botox due to the potential of side effects being worse than the HFS. I also dislike needles and hate anything having to do with eyes (eye surgery, putting in contacts,...)
