Comments: Have only had HFS for about 3 months, getting my second MRI today with dye contrast, just to make sure my previous MRI was correct as they couldn't read part of the film, although it looked normal.
Doctor has talked about Botox, but from what I read on this website and others, the results in many cases outweighs the benefits of having the shots. Mine are rather mild now, and I will probably wait until they get more severe before taking the next step. I dont think there are any Neurosurgeons doing MVD in my area (Connecticut), but if my condition deteriorates alot, I would travel for someone experienced in this operation. My Doctor also said sometimes the spasms disappear by themselves. Mine seem to be worse in the morning and at night they are hardly noticeable.
