Nerve had significant indentation (half the width of the nerve. Dr. indicates full recovery after nerve repairs itself could take up to a year.

Initially after surgery spasms were much worse for first few months.

July 2005, three months since MVD, some improvement noted.

As of October 2006, 50% improvement only.

Improvement remained around 50% for the next two years.

Have not stayed in touch as much as I should have.
April 2009. 99% spasm free with some moments of lack of control, or just the inability to fully control or move certain facial muscles. I'm not sure why this was the year the spasms decided to abate.
