The purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity for members to meet one another face to face, share personal & HFS experiences and to meet, interact and learn about a variety of aspects of HFS from some of the most distinguished Hemifacial Spasm physicians in the world.
Registration and a cocktail party on July 18, 2003 provided an opportunity for some members to renew acquaintances and others to meet members in person for the very first time. All mingled with doctors and friends, old & new, in a very relaxed yet informative social setting.
The DVD recording of the meeting begins with the opening remarks on Saturday, July 19, 2003 and includes all individual and group physician' presentations, question and answer sessions, and the concluding remarks at the closing night's dinner on Saturday evening.
For individuals just beginning to learn about HFS or for those who have been on the journey for some time, the information contained in this DVD record is invaluable. Various treatment options are explored, explained and discussed. Regardless of where you are in your journey, there's something here for you -- four and a half (4 1/2) hours of HFS information that can be watched at your leisure and information at your fingertips, whenever you need it, for years to come.
Whether you attended the meeting or not, we believe you'll find that these DVDs will be of continuing value to you and your family. As you can see from the Agenda below, the areas of HFS coverage and the presenters themselves are quite impressive.
