The HFSA is a much-needed resource, providing information and support to individuals suffering with Hemifacial Spasm (HFS). To enable the HFSA to continue this support and to continue to expand requires continual funding to cover such basic expenses as Internet hosting, computer software for the website, software support, printing of pamphlets, envelopes, postage, etc.
Although there are no membership fees required to belong to the Hemifacial Spasm Association (HFSA), voluntary financial assistance from our members is imperative to cover our basic operating expenses and to enable us to fund our long-term goals and objectives.
The level of this funding directly impacts the speed and magnitude of our progress.
Members are encouraged to support the HFSA's efforts by contributing whatever amount is comfortable and affordable. Whether it's $20.00, $25.00, $50.00 or more, it's all appreciated and will be put to good use. If you are inclined and can afford to make a donation, your generosity will enhance our progress.
You may contribute by making your check payable to Hemifacial Spasm Association (HFSA) - (Non-USA members: please send an International Money Order, in U.S. Dollars), and mailing it to:
Jack O'Donnell, Treasurer
Additionally, we have set up a PayPal® account so you may make contributions by direct transfer, via the internet, on a worldwide basis from your checking or savings account to ours. If you are interested in making a contribution in this manner, please visit PayPal®, click on the Sign up for your FREE PayPal Account, and then choose the Personal Account option. There are no costs associated with this method of contributing and it is a secure site used for eBay auctions for years, and is now owned by eBay. I personally have been using it for eBay auctions for quite some time without any problems.
Although PayPal has the capability to accept transfers from a credit/debit card, we did not set up this option because there are service charges involved with each credit/debit card transaction. The payment needs to come from a direct bank transfer from your checking or savings account to our bank account,
Once you set up your PayPal account, or if you already have one, to contribute just do the following:
1. Click on PayPal®.
All contributions, regardless of amount, will be immediately acknowledged.
Thank you for your generosity and commitment to the continued progress of the HFSA to enable us to positively impact the lives of those suffering with HFS.
