Botox® Experiences - Priscilla Poh
In February 2006 I had my first Botox® treatment, and after 3 injections, I didn’t have good results.
I had my 2nd Botox® session in late May 2006 and this time was given 5 injections and this time I had good results, no spasm but have a crooked mouth and stroke-like look.
My 3rd session of Botox® is scheduled for October 2006. However, I’m not planning on going for Botox anymore because after seeing Frances Ng of Singapore go through her MVD in July 2006, I have more faith in the neurosurgeons in Singapore and I now have a definite plan to pursue MVD, perhaps around March 2007. The cost for a MVD in a local hospital is quite affordable. I am very fed-up living with the spasms, and after 20 years of suffering, I really feel now is the time to go for the MVD. My other friends in Singapore whom I came to know through this wonderful association set up by Jack O’Donnell are also pursuing MVD in 2006.
So it is like harvest time for all of us here in Singapore who are suffering from this hateful disease to go in and gather the good results through MVD.
