Subject:      HFS prevalence

Thanks to the HFSA which, through the Internet, has served to inform so many sufferers. It looks like the purpose of the HFSA has been achieved and will continue to succeed by providing information, as well as support, to those who thought they were the only ones with this, still rare, disorder.

Hopefully, HFS information will find its way to doctors, who have never heard of HFS. People seem to be coming out of the woodwork and learning the reason for their spasmodic faces. (And that there actually is a name for it.) Until recently, they had no idea what was wrong. So, maybe there really are a lot more HFS people around than previously thought.

The number of HFSA members makes it quite obvious that the HFSA has definitely made significant progress in its goals. Thanks, Jack, for making it possible.
